Working with Alpha Rail and their delivery partners, RSB Consulting managed multi-site access planning and stakeholder coordination across metro rail corridors.
Responsibilities included:
- Developing safe working access plans for multiple bridge inspection sites.
- Coordinating with KiwiRail network operations to integrate inspection schedules with ongoing services planning and permit teams to review applications, methodology to gain site access within their respective lead times.
- Planning and facilitating fencing installations around complex property and land restrictions. This engagement improved network safety and accessibility while minimising operational disruption. KiwiRail’s network safety through upgrades to their corridor boundary lines.
